With the help of some MCKL students, our students had created a fun and meaningful carnival for 6 community schools (Mon Learning Centre, Lautu Refugee Learning Centre, Children’s Training Centre, Kachin Refugee Learning Centre, Mercy Inspired Kingdom Service, Zomi Education Centre-Talalla). We wish we could invite all the community schools. However, due to the restriction of COVID-19, we had to limit the numbers of students we invite.
There were 24 game booths, creatively created by our students. Whoever plays and wins when playing the games, were rewarded with gifts.
After the game session ends, we also had great session of watching students from different schools performing. It was so lovely to see the wonderful performances of the children and they too, were entertained! We wish to have a greater project in the future which will allow us to invite all the students in the community schools.
